Vote by Mail - Voting by Mail is the easiest way to vote in Northampton Township
Apply Online. The easiest way to apply is to fill out the online form where you can choose to receive alerts about your mail ballot to make sure your vote counts and then will be automatically redirected to the Vote by Mail sign up page. The process takes less than five minutes.

Once you’re signed up, the Board of Elections will send you a ballot with instructions as soon as the ballots are ready (typically 20-30 days before the Election). The deadline to apply to Vote by Mail is 5 p.m. on the Tuesday before the election. Your completed ballot must be received by the Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

You can only return your own ballot to a drop box. All Drop Boxes are indoors.
2. By Mail.
Ballots must be received at the Board of Elections by 8pm on Election Day: Tuesday, November 2. Within 10 days of an election, it is no longer safe to return your ballot by mail. Please use a drop box
3. At the Polls on Election Day.
As a last resort, you can bring your entire ballot package (including envelopes) to your polling place in Northampton Township on Election Day and the Judge of Elections will void your ballot and allow you to vote on the machines. You will need your ballot AND your return envelope in order to vote on the machines. If you no longer have your ballot or envelopes, you can fill out a provisional ballot. All voters have the right to vote provisionally.

Vote In-Person - Voting by Mail is the easiest way to vote in Northampton Township
The Polls are open from 7:00am-8:00pm on Primary Election Day and General Election Day.
The General Election takes place on the first Tuesday in November. The Primary Election typically takes place on the third Tuesday in May except in Presidential years when it takes place on the fourth Tuesday in April.
